I graduated from Edinburgh University in 1988 and after working in mixed and small animal practice, obtained an RCVS Ophthalmology Certificate in 1992.
I have been a member of the BVA Eye Panel for more than 25 years and have also worked at the Animal Health Trust (AHT) with the Guide Dog Association studying inherited disease in canines.
After working at Eye Veterinary Clinic, Leominster from leaving the AHT, I worked in second opinion Veterinary Ophthalmology referral practices across the West Midlands
I have been a member of the BVA /KC/ISDS Eye Panel for more than 25 years, supporting pre-breeding screening in many dog breeds for hereditary eye problems .
